Mortgage Loan Specialist Introduction:

Mortgage Loan Specialist Responsibilities:

This position reports to the ______________________. Duties may include:

• Introducing potential customers to our products and services as well as helping them make decisions as to what best suits their needs
• Assisting customers with the loan application process
• Reviewing loan applications, verifying information, and determining eligibility
• Onboarding new customers and assisting with initial setup
• Informing customers of changes in policy, eligibility, their application status, or other updates and information
• Responding to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Resolving any issues or discrepancies with account information, transactions, etc.
• Following company mortgage policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and rules, as well as prov/state/federal legislation
• Making updates and changes in our database
• Creating monthly and annual reports
• Other duties as assigned

Mortgage Loan Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field of study
• *Specific licensing may be required in your state or province*
• 2-5 years experience of experience in a similar role
• Keen attention to detail and analysis skills are required
