Tax Accountant:

We are looking for a detail-oriented person to fill our Tax Accountant position. With your tax specialization, you will help us with tax reconciliation and managing our payment processes. With your help, our business can succeed if you are focused on the changing legislation of tax regulations. You will succeed in this role if you have a keen eye for details and have a strategic thought process.

Tax Accountant Responsibilties:

This position reports to the Financial Manager. Responsibilities may include the following:

• Preparing tax payments and returns
• Communicating with clients and government agencies about tax compliance
• Organizing paperwork for management
• Staying up-to-date on tax regulations
• Additional projects as required
  
  

Tax Accountant Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education focusing on Commerce or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• CPA designation is considered an asset
• Use of accounting software (e.g. Sage)
• Attention to detail
