Host/Hostess Job Description

Host/Hostess Introduction:

Host/Hostess Responsibilties:

In this role, you will report to the Restaurant Manager. Duties may include:

• Taking reservations and any other customer inquiries by phone and online
• Warmly greeting customers and seating them
• Educating customers on our menu concept and ingredients as making recommendations
• Taking food orders over the phone and coordinating delivery
• Providing excellent and timely customer service
• Assisting with table preparation and clean-up as needed

Host/Hostess Qualifications:

• Experience in a customer service role considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Must be able to stand for eight-hour shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
