Hotel Manager Introduction:

Hotel Manager Responsibilties:

This position reports to the Hotel General Manager. Duties may include:

• Ensuring our guests receive excellent and prompt customer service at all times
• Responding to inquiries and concerns over the phone
• Resolving customer complaints or issues
• Supervising our team of front-desk staff
• Assisting with hiring of new staff and delivering their training
• Creating schedules for front desk staff and dealing with any staff issues that may arise
• Training staff on new equipment, software, and procedures as needed
• Overseeing payment processes and records completed by front-desk staff
• Acting as manager-on-duty when required
• Other duties as assigned

Hotel Manager Qualifications:

• Completion of a Hospitality and Hotel Management course considered a definite asset
• 3-4 years of hotel front-desk experience
• Must have some previous experience leading a team
